Hi again guys..
Sorry for the system outage.. it had a bit of a hissy fit for some reason.. all back together now.. I usually leave it for a day just to make sure it doesn't fix itself which it sometimes kindly does. I must admit I'm getting a bit sick of fixing things but I guess that will have to do for now until someone takes over the reins or we all just get sick of it.
I left it a few more days than I should have.. I was in bed with a cold and really couldn't face it but I'm back so its all go again.
Regards
GR

George --

No worries about being down a couple days. And thank you again for starting and maintaining this forum.

I second Pete's comments.
We're eternally grateful GR. Without this forum, what would become of the free exchange of ideas etc.?

Hey GR,

Ditto

We can put up with a few outages if you can put up with running the site!
Much appreciated, sport.

Add my appreciation to the list - keeps me going at 3-6AM! when I'm thinking of the next 20 ft. hurdle I need to clear in the construction process.

p.s. Had that cold, got the red nose to prove it.

Did you have days of bright orange snot and a voice like an old Fordson tractor.. thats the joy I have right now!

Thanks guys.. appreciate the sentiments.. it can get a bit of a pain at times when some pinhead tosser tries to ruin all the fun and I wander in for a relaxing 10 min on the forum spouting some opinionated rubbish and it quickly turns into several hours of fault finding and web searching..
I'm living in fear of the day it bites the dust.. I have backups but it still will bite at the worst time.

Anyhow .. back to the fun bit..

Carry on!

GR,

My observation is that the site is seldom down for any length of time. The advantages and help derrived from this forum far outweigh the minor inconveniences of an outage.

Keep it going, WE LOVE IT! :D :) :P

George, thanks for getting the forum back on line!
And best wishes for a quick recovery, it is only when you're sick that you can appreciate being in good health...

Dan (awaiting the coming of H1N1 :? )
